Continuing a look at translations from French to English,
what is wonderful about the French language is its current multiplicity of
meanings:
‘Je suis’ can be translated as ‘I am’ as well as ‘I follow”
It makes the perfect text in this current instance of
callousness and cruelty.
I think most civilised people will ‘string with Charlie’now.
